At the moment there are 17 different gleam colours in the game.

[FYI the system currently supports having 255 unique base colours per block type. So once we fully define all the colours they’ll be huge variety to hunt down. The world will be your palette.]

All blocks can use the same colouring technique, even ice and (why not) water, lava and the other fluids.
