The room didn’t really look stable and was lacking pillars so I reworked the light structures into pillars which work well with ancient buildings and futuristic ones as well.
The room is far from being finished so they still might change.

Houston, we’ve got a probl…portal!
The wall will be closed. The fake portal is intended as a gate to the actual portal room.
How does it work?
The portal is 3 layers thick. The inner layer provides a gap with (lattice+bevel) chiseled gleam and water. The chiseled gleam doesn’t disturb the waterflow so the water can pass through it and flow down. I’ll add iron octigrid to walk on since water can pass through that one as well but it’s not really needed with just one layer of water.
