Wow I had just, a crazy moment tonight, incredible timing.
I was in bed for a while and couldn’t sleep, got up and with nothing to do, logged into boundless to run around and look at stuff. After a series of hubs and shops and whatnot I wound up in the shop of the guild that is building near where I was at until recently. So I went outside to look around the ol’ homestead and what do I see but the perpetually gleam club and abandoned maze of sky builds from an old, but long gone friend and some (I thought unknown/other) characters were all gone.
I went hopping around the island and noticed something across the water. I swam over and turns out it was some ash blocks.
I would have to dig for pics but this was a large area, we’re talking about a lot of plots, mostly roads/builds that have sat untouched since 2018 and early 2019. What makes this so astonishing and makes me want to share the moment is just the incredible chance that I would catch these last blocks, sitting here, randomly after all this time - having no idea of the beacon fuel/gleam club or anything, and having left the area only recently, in a mindless late night wandering session ay 3:30 AM. A couple more hours of regen and they’ll be gone too.
After all these years farewell man - The owner of those plots was having some issues and pretty much just vanished from the game. I hope that things came together for him. It’s also some crazy irony that this is really only a few weeks after me finally reclaiming Lantern Gardens. Among the other landmarks that vanished here was the early game Ultima/Raxxa gateway and the final remnants of Infinity City.

This island on the right was home to the Ultima Gate which is what attracted me to move here in early december 2018:
By then Infinity City was growing in the sky between the two islands, and then Lantern Gardens until recently.
So wow that turned from a sleepless night into a strange, nostalgic morning for me really quick and I figured I would share 
just some toons jumping and grappling like little monkeys - they are quite cute, but…
