I don’t mind any trunks. But white only comes in twisted. I do prefer lustrous for most of my trees except this area.

You should try ancient timber… Its so versitile.

Yeah I know a lot of people like using ancient timber. Way easier for trees. But I’m stuck in my ways.

First of all holy smokes that’s a lot of blocks right there 
This feels really tiny in comparison but here is what turned out to be
hmmmm
I guess it’s sort of a tree overgrowing a pedestal, in a fountain. 
Here it is from the cave underneath:
I also put a sort of a ring thing over the hub so you can tell what corner it’s in 
It was sort of layered on so it’s … It’s got layers.
Then for some reason I wound up wrapping it in leaves 
Anyways it’s pretty easy to spot the hub or grapple to it now from most of the main floor here.

I like the open bit of tree over this thing. I think it also adds to its appeal from a distance.
Have you thought about adding trellis stuff to this build? Or are you keeping it minimum effort at the moment?
Oh and I found the hidey hole that goes down under, quite liked that too since it goes into the caves area.

I’m still spending more time wandering around the caves than building lol.
Right now it’s about the shape of the place, and my “analysis paralysis” heh. I think once I settle on a spot for a workshop more details will come to mind. Not about the effort, just some consistency and maintaining a particular feel. I Started adding some dark glass yesterday
Also welcome back, I saw you posting yesterday I think and was like “Ahhh I always see Ner Arth at 4AM”!!! I’m glad you came by.
Yesterday was my first day of a 5 day quarantine that’s part of why I was fussing on accents like this.
EDIT: When I started placing blocks over that hole I was using darker wood - I sort of tried to build a big coconut there 
There just wasn’t room for the leaf pattern so it turned into this fat, stubby tree.

I should add a warning to this one, there are two separate labyrinth floors under the arena floor. If you go down there, don’t get lost. Also, there is a portal to the rooftop from the Gigg portal hub area - don’t fall off

the planetary portal at GTG gets you to Gigg, we also have portals at the Welcome Centre, and on first floor at TNT
