try exploring to find a desert. On Finata (EU tier 2 starting world) has nice big deserts for example, but most planets have some as well. Also, there a pockets of sand underground on many planets, so even if that is a slower aproch it would give you also some nice amount of ores and stuff on the way between them ^^

I really like the look of the benches in the floor rather than vertical. Just have to be willing to give up the space.
