if I’m correct this cannot be done if a transfer is wanted on the same account between characters it has to be a different account

You can download the second screen app for the PC from Sony website and it will allow you to play your PlayStation games on the PC. You will have to have the minimum requirements for the program to work on your PC and you can automatically hook the PS4 controller via a USB port and it will work as long as you have the program running to use the controller for your games
