Wow awesome cant wait to resume my build
I am able to chisel blocks that i have placed before the last patch, but if i place a new block i am unable to chisel them. I have just done a mass replaced ment of a load of blocks becasue i found a better colour, now they’re stuck big an chunky I’m sure this will get fixed soon, just wanted to make it known!
They are working on it
Oh great, thanks Ynnoz!
You’re welcome
Found the same problem with gravel - tried to chisel in steps for a path I’m building and there was no effect.
So before the patch I could chisel thorn to create an awesome ceiling with lanterns and foliage behind it. I also wanted to chisel it to be hanging vines emulating a jungle scenery. After the patch however I went to chisel thorn blocks and they gave me the noise of rejection. The ones I already had down from before the patch can be chiseled but not the ones from today. I hope this is a bug, otherwise I am SOL and shall forever hear the sound of chisel rejection.
There have been multiple topics on this already. Yes, it is a bug with multiple types of blocks - trunks, ice, thorns, gravel, and possibly more.
I’m sure they are working on it so just stay patient.
Okay I looked quickly and did not find one and posted for precisely what you have responded with. Thank you!
Also just for clarification @Steggs101 I am a PC user, not PS4.
this is already fixed on the test server
While it’s nice to know that it’s fixed somewhere, actually knowing when the patch will be released would be better. Getting all kinds of ideas in my head for project, but without the chisel, they are as dust in the wind.
Well this week.
Posted on Friday:
So no one works the weekend? It’s still something they could have done and had someone record issues over the weekend, and if no one works weekends, does this also mean issues will only be addressed during business hours of ??-??, Granted I know they are new and can’t exactly afford whole Dev teams to round the clock upkeep and maintenance. But instead of saying, We didn’t want to release it before the weekend., I personally would have felt more comfortable hearing an actual date of planned release.
They have the fix in test and until they are sure the fixes work and nothing else major is broken, I think they are not going to tell us when it will be released. If they had to move the release date due to additional issues or the fixes did not work then community would be asking why they missed the date. It is kind of a no win.
