when i open coffers, it gives me for example 5000 xp. then it cuts it to 2500 on the xp bar even if i got 5000. it just removes the other 2500. help with this?
Its the death penalty, its applicable to coffer xp
hmm. but why does it cut as soon as it goes on xp? it should cut during getting it. not after.

Have you opened the coffer in the Sanctum by any chance?
One thing I’ve found to counteract the death penalty is to eat a teaching pie. Double xp cut in half gives you what you normally would earn.
It gives you the full xp then takes it away (visually). I agree it’s a visual inconsistency.
@LunaiHunter, do you remember doing anything before this occurred? As already asked, did you open the coffer from within the Sanctum? Or perhaps you had a Defeat Penalty on your character.
