Ive taken a huge break from the game. I fueled my beacons to keep my plots safe for 15 weeks.
I hopped on and fueled them up again after 2 months. Havent had any issues. Just starting to dive back into the game now. Love it

And what kind of monster would Cookie be?

Never forget your true home!
honestly the thing you need to keep is coin, power coils and a stack of tools. with that you can rebuild with minimum effort.
Power coils are what cost the most in this game. you are looking at least 150-200k in power coils for a fully setup workshop. Heck if you have Chrysominter power coils those go for 25k each.
Other then that you just need a good stack of aoe tools.
with that you can completely rebuild from scratch, with out those power coils though its about 1-2 months until you can ramp up.

Max beacon fuel last 4 months. It’s very cheap now and I’m sure any one of us can give players some. That is fueling your beacon 3 times in one year. Span that out to perhaps, 10 years? That is only logging on 30 times. The reality is if you’re only logging in to save your stuff for years to come it’s mostly likely for sentimental reasons, (some other reasons in between) I would assume. If you even play at a minimum you can fuel your beacon. I’m all for a safe storage though. One that still makes your plots go away and makes room for the world. You would still get your mats back. I’m all for that. If you don’t come back, no loss to anyone. That would in turn get rid of a salvaging ( treasure hunting) play style though. To combat that the devs could make dungeons with loot , randomly spawned builds anywhere from 10 plots to 300 in the universe and so on. Some built with high tier mats and some with trunks and stones.
Have you ever thought about starting over without the coin?
I am thinking about starting all over from square one. Is that crazy?
I miss the grind. I know, weird right?
I have played so long that the game has just turned into a building game for me. that is cool, but it burns me out like Minecraft does.
I miss those early firsts and accomplishments.
Happy New Year everyone. Wishing all of you a great 2020
