[Solved] Game Crash after Connecting to Server

Today i want to start Boundless and it crashed only.

I start game, i see the wonderstruck logo with the game version number, the game try to connect to the server and than crash. if the game crash sometimes my graphic driver crashing too.

Win 7 Ultimate - 64bit
16GB Ram
Nvidea 970 GTX (Driver @crash1 = 341.?; @crash2 i have update to the newest version = 361.75; it makes no diffrence)

i try update driver and reinstall, nothing helped

if it helps i can upload the 4 mdmp files (tblz_crashdump_0000 till 003.mdmp)

This looks like the same issue thats hit [Solved] Game crash on startup

I updated my drivers and the game was ok before and after, though I have a different Nvidia GPU.

Its possible an asset is not downloading correctly though there appear to be no error reported for that case. If something is corrupt uninstalling it and reinstalling it may fix it.

i try reinstalling, maybe i had better say in first post “i try update driver and reinstall the game, nothing helped”

A new Day, but still the Old crash.

the only thing what changed is, because the driver update the graphic driver dont crash anymore but the game still crash

Has anything else changed about your PC?
When was the last time it ran with out crashing?
We didn’t push an update out so its not obvious why this is now happening.

only 1 thing changed ^^ i have upgradet from pioneer to chieftain. nothing else. no new software, hardware, driver or something else.

the game crash after loading the world look at the picture, it has problem with the texture

it’s running for me (and i’m the second half of this chieftain account => no auth error [at least not from the account]) … if i look at your log it’s obvious that a lot of textures failed to create.

one more now, are you sure that you have make no updates ? ^^

Checked the full list of updates and drivers. Everything should be fine on my end. Not having any issues with any other programs.

When I first attempted login this morning, I had changed nothing. Got the crash, checked the boards, and saw the others. I updated everything at that point. Crashed again.

@Saint_X can you see if this fixes it for you too?

In steam right click on Boundless->Properties->Disable the Steam Overlay in Game. If that does not help revert the change.

ok now i found the problem. now i can start boundless with activatet Steam Overlay.

If you had activatet Steam beta and overlay => game crash

I switched to the Steam Beta and then I got the same errors that you and the others were seeing, so it is that.

i using steam beta over 1-2 years now and had never a problem ^^ so i still forget that i have activatet this.

but now i let it deactivatet ^^
