Only some people’s chat seems to be showing up in my chat feed on the PS4. I was in a hunt group last night and could only see one or two people’s chats. I was in the all channel. I know I wasn’t seeing all the chats because I was on Discord with the hunt leader. None of his in-game chats were showing up for me. This is the third time I have suspected I was missing chat, but it was the first time I could confirm it. Is there possibly a setting somewhere that is filtering out certain people?
Did you inadvertently mute some players?
I know sometimes when I’m trying to go fast I misclick and come close to muting people. It can be done when you click on someone’s name in the chat box
I’m not sure. It’s certainly a possibility. Is there a way to check if people are muted?
This is solved. Somehow, my parental settings were set so that only PSN players would show up in the chat. No idea how it happened.
I hope I didn’t accidentally ignore anyone!
