Titanium spanners repair more per tick, but I guess gems are more available.
Titanium also has a bit lower durability.
Oh I was being sarcastic “/s” I didn’t even realize gem spanners were in game. I always overlook them.

silver 1000
gold 2000
never had or used higher than gold

Action Speed: 50
Durability: 1 500
Wear removed per hit: 3 500
Stamina drain: 60
Gem:
Action Speed: 60
Durability: 2 000
Wear removed per hit: 2 000
Stamina drain: 43
Edit/
Gold:
Action Speed: 40
Durability: 600
Wear removed per hit: 2 000
Stamina drain: 34
Gold seem to be a good option yeah.
