There are some strange behavior on forum since the new layout.
Treads i have read still show several unread posts, in one tread i have 6 unread posts after i have read all.
And it keep saying i have unread post at the top bar, but when i click on it nothing show up.
Do you have any internet issues at the time? Cause that sometimes mess a bit around with how Discourse registers which posts you have viewed.
No, never seen it before the new layout.
It keep flag some read post as unread, not a big problem, but i keep click them.
Then I really don’t know, its probably going to fix itself in the next update or 2.
Sometimes I’ve found it I edit a post in a thread much later as I see a spelling mistake it then brings that thread to the top of the forum and marks it as unread even if there’s no new posts in it.
Not sure if that is what’s happening?
No, i can have 5 new post in a thread, i go there and read them, and when i go back it still say i have 5 unread in that thread.
Later on i click to read the new posts, but no new posts…
Same happens for me when I read posts using my phone. I have to refresh the page for it to show the real number of unread posts.
