How about reverse footfall? Once a month you get 1 coin for each beacon you touch (so it can’t be abused), this would encourage people to explore new areas and help noobs.

Seems like a lot of work. Especially when some people hide their beacons. Also the coin machine will help with some of the lack of coin. So this may not even be something that is needed.

This is more about encouraging people to visit distant plots and smaller cities
I like the idea, but I’m not sure that would be enough. Maybe 50c.
