Suggestion: portals should generate XP as they consume oort, like a furnace does with ingredients

This would be helpful as it would reward people for running hubs. And it seems fair, since everything other “machine” that consumes ingredients provides XP.

I agree ! However, this one of the many things that should give XP but that do not currently like farming.

But it’s processing a product to make another one that gives xp. Using spark doesn’t give you xp. It’s the end product that gives you it.

Are you talking about portals processing something that gives XP ? I think I am missing something. I can see how they generate footfall, but this does not produce XP.

And it should !!! God I hate forging. They should reward me with rainbows and jingles every time I make a AoE tools. And XP, obviously.
