[testing] Unable to leave guild

When I try to leave my primary, and only guild, I get an “Are you sure?” dialog and when I click “Yes - Leave Guild” it shows the same dialog over and over again. The Dialog contains the message “This Control is linked to another Guild”, which is confusing because I’m doing this through the Character → Guilds menu, not a Guild Control.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Created a new character
  2. Put down a beacon and a decently sized plotted area 5x5ish
  3. Requested to join guild The-Hyphenators
  4. Went to beacon to confirm I could no longer align my beacon to “None” while having a Guild request open, but not being a member
  5. Requested to join guild Portal Seekers
  6. Portal Seekers automatically accepted my request, so I was immediately a member
  7. Try to leave Portal Seekers guild from Character → Guilds menu
  8. Dialog displays saying “This Control is linked to another Guild”
  9. Repeat step 8 over and over.

I also cannot cancel my request to join The-Hyphenators. The same dialog displays.

Steps 1,2 and 4 may not be relevant, but I documented everything I did just in case.

Yes, I think someone else may have previously reported this before, but I’ll add your info to the bug database anyway as you have included steps to reproduce, and I was able to get the same situation.

Were you able to leave by interacting with the Guild Control books and doing it that way, just to confirm that it works? Obviously, players should be able to leave guilds or cancel requests without having to locate Guild Controls.

I’m pretty sure I tried leaving through the Guild Control as well and had the same problem.
