The sound of Subterranean cuttletrunks driving me insane

Cuttletrunks have became my most hated creature in Boundless due to them spawning underground my base.

I hear them squawk and go aggro and try and get me some I can dig out and kill most of the time they are to much of a pain to find some are in small pockets in the rock.

The never ending noise of cuttletrunks I hear at my base is maddening so if anyone sees Me or my alts acting strange the cuttletrunks finally made me loose my mind. Lol

Plot the caves if you have them spare, that will stop them!

Without trying to sound like a total ■■■■, plot deeper. I know its an utter and total pain and may not even be poss if you have a 40x40 footprint but theres not much else to do. If they are out of agrro range at least its some relief…

Monsters aggroing through walls and floors (Without any possible path or line of sight) Community Support

Was this supposed to be fixed? I remember it being reported multiple times last year. I live in a biome with a lot of caves and monsters are constently spawning and aggroing below the floors. I already tried to plot deeper and fill out the caves. It doesn’t help. I also have 50% stealth. Doesn’t help. There is no line of sight or any possible path. They spawn in completely encased caves. Why do they aggro at all? Why don’t they time out? I mean it has no gameplay disadvantage, but the sound …

But monsters aggroing through walls without any possible path or any line of sight is apparently a feature.

I would like to be able to place, or infuse my current blocks with Soundproofing materials for this reason. It has gotten to the point I just play boundless with the sound disabled.

This! I almost quit playing the game when I started my crafter and stayed in my base most of the time. It’s so annoying and rage inducing. lol

I ended up plotting a very large area and I still get it sometimes. I’m plotted down to the mantle…

Lol we started to plot a lot of layers down that didn’t help so we are moving our main build to the water problem now is it ain’t deep enough ^^ we are hitting the bottom of the ocean.
