This is the first game I have every played where I have felt compelled to stop and say hi. Maybe exchange some pleasantries or compliment someone on their build.
I’m starting to know my neighbors. I’m like “Oh, Syk is home. I wonder if he added anything recently?”
Maybe it’s the lack of PvP, but even being a solo outpost, you kinda get that community feeling.
As long as you don’t live out your Europa Universalis dreams by building some massive territory that will eventually anex your neighbor into a settlement, then yeah, you’ll get along with your neighbors
Indeed, when I go out gathering basic mats like wood, peat, and fiber I like to be nosy and pop into my neighbors builds haha. It’s cool seeing the evolution. The Shire has been shaping up nicely, they got an Eye of Sauron in the works which is very cool. I can see it from my base.
Visited the Shire yesterday. Some fun builds there.
I’ve already claimed cores on most of Aquatopia.
