This is not your personal blog site

That’s a really weird logic, though. It’s a bit like ignoring reality, or blocking freedom of speech. It’s saying “Here’s what I think and I don’t care what you think” simply because at some level, you know there are people who don’t agree with you. It defeats the entire point of a forum.

If there’s ‘toxicity’ around here, at some level, it’s because some people are unhappy. Why is that? You think people like to be ‘toxic’? No, it’s simply because devs are being mostly silent and leaving their players to drown in these bad toxic vibes. They need a dedicated community manager, they need a basic roadmap. The most “toxic” players of this community (and I agree that I might be one of them) are being very understanding, accepting and constructive, IMHO, compared to other game-communities I know.

I agree with @Havok40k, though. Everything he said is correct. There’s no need for people to make a thread just to say “goodbye”. However, I think it’s acceptable to do a “goodbye” thread if you wanna give away your stuff before leaving, or warning people because your place happens to be well known/essential (like a mall or a beloved build) and will soon disappear.
