You can just imagine them as the Adem people of “The king killer chronicles”

They are a mercenary people who communicate exclusively with their hands and flat speech, it is seen as improper to show emotions on the face so they always looks stonefaced. Ta-dah!

It’s good practice to show no emotion to a merchant :smile:. That way they won’t know how badly you want it.
