Ever since I have been back everyone in the community is really nice and helpful.
That got me thinking - since on official forums we are unable to edit threads, it makes it quite tedious to make any kind of “gather” thread which Original Poster can update and add up to it.
I was wondering if there would be an interest in the new, unofficial forums that I can set-up? I would give all of the mods permissions to already active mods and we could have a normal, unhindered forum experience. I have spare resources on a unused server I could dedicate.
Is it a good idea, or not worth splitting and confusing community. Let me know what you think.
I have no problem supporting the infrastructure for it, if there is interest.
The new forum was promised long time ago, but still nothing changed, sadly.
Gathering would be basically the same as buy baskets on the B U T T. Unless you mean like the occasional LTB say a certain number of an item in a Certain color as we see on occasion.
I sure wouldn’t mind an un unofficial forum on the side for trade or guild topics that can have editable posts.
We have BUTT or Boundless Information Station that we use independently of this forum here, so why not have a forum space dedicated to specific tasks?
Yes, that was my initial idea. Was thinking it would be nice to have place where people can drop their guides and world posts freely, where they can then edit them as needed.
Things like sovereign worlds registry post with info on how to get there etc.
Even the likes of Useful References posts can’t be edited now - having a space where it is pinned and editable to be up to date would be cool in my opinion.
