What is a good use of the wayfarer totem?

it hits all blocks for the same damage. harvest wood, soil, and rocks with the same tool.

probably would be great for AOE clearing perfectly square areas, as opposed to hammers that leave sand and gravel behind

I usually carry one or two (depending if or how it’s forged) as a backup when I’m on a high tier planet if my hammer runs out at least i can break a few more ores before i go home, or on my way back.

I forge them with devastating boon and use it as all around tools on my main.

I carry a stack of them on my alts, they are a titanium multitool, I usually have one aoe, one single dmg, one light/loot, one water/diving, and throw a revive augment in the others. Takes on inventory slot and works as hammers, axes, shovels, and looter
