What happens to coin when beacon expires?

If someone had coin in a request basket or shop stand when their beacon expired, would the coin disappear or would someone else be able to collect the coin?

What if the beacon expired then someone else beaconed the area before regen, would the coin still be there to be retrieved by the new beacon owner?

They will dont disappear in a unclamed / expired beacon but people will be able to take them.

Coin would stay in the basket/shop stand. But the ff coin disappears

Correct I second that. Any coin in stands/ baskets remains BUT FF does not stay.
