When Looking At Beacon Settlement Section It Crashes

Updated. Played for 10 min… Went to look at my beacon and it crashed

This has happen 2 times already.

I go look at my beacon and it crashes. (ps4)

Interacting with it… Click on it … and as soon as the window opens up it crashed.

Ok, Clarification…

I clicked on beacon. Finata World
Clicked on Details, My Name Coins All Good.

Clicked on Settlement Detail and it Crashed again.
Did not give me the option to send report.

Restarted game. Went to Eresho World Were I got other beacons and No issues.

Came back to Finata click on a different beacon and when I looked at Settlement it crashed.
Reported the issue

What’s the name of the settlement? Did the crash occur when you click on it?

Hi, if I click the initial “smaller” settlements in my settlement list, they all display their detail on click, but when I hit the larger ones etc Ultima Guild HQ - Settlement and the game freezes up and then closes down. -Huntsman

The normal process we go through is that we fix bugs and implement hotfixes where possible. Then we would update the release post with information about what is fixed.

I did the update 1.22
Now I can see in the settlement detail section.
But I’m now getting the bridges multiple settlements.
I have not added any new plots.

Can you please help or direct me were I can get this issue resolved. I’m a little confuse.

Explaining Beacons and Settlements post Release 211 Devlog

Below are some notes that will hopefully help players understand the Settlement and Beacon changes introduced in Release 211. Chunk Resolution: Before Release 211 Settlements were evaluated at a chunk resolution. A chunk is a 16m x 16m column (from bedrock to max height) within the world. A chunk is hence big enough for 2 x 2 plot columns. Each plots is 8m x 8m x 8m. Beacons are plotted via plots. So in 8m x 8m x 8m cubes. The Settlement system would: scan over all the chunks in the world …
