I chose build things, mine, pure fun and explore.

But it’s more than that, I used to build on Minecraft… but building stuff on here that people can explore and stumble upon. To create functioning areas that other players will benefit from gives a real sense of purpose to building… even if it’s just a little shop. I think that’s the main reason I play. The fact that we really have created the game (not me personally ha) but with the hubs and portal networks, hunt meets/platforms, farms and shopping malls… it’s like our own civilisation and I love it  people have put some serious work in to some of the community places and it really is amazing

The one thing I miss from Minecraft is roller coasters. I used to build the coolest roller coasters and it was uber fun

Imagine if boundless had monorails in big cities and malls

I had the coolest roller coaster on a private server. It went in a spiral up to max alt then did a bunch of jumps (sadly no loops in that game) and went underground, where pressure plates would detect the cart and have dispensers release monsters from eggs farther down the path (so you’d shoot by monsters when you rode the coaster).

So many cool things that I hope will be in Boundless one day!

On a similar note, giving water ā€œpushā€ would be a big one for me… I’d love to do a water park with huge flume slides going down mountains, through glass and LED tunnels and all!

Had to vote all but ā€œmost plotsā€ and ā€œbecause someone elsā€.

Mainly because its an addiction I can’t get rid of and don’t really want to.

I first began playing because my significant other bought the game in search of a game that we’d both love to play together. Now, he’s on a break and I keep playing anyway, so it’s definitely not the only reason for me ! I still play to run our shops and to have fun exploring, farming, hunting, etc. Boundless has something special because you can do whatever you want in every moment !

I play for a lot of reasons actually:

1.The Grind
2.Exploration
3.Deep crafting system
4.Mining
5.Relaxation
6.Pure fun

it’s just a game that I can play seemlessly while watching a Youtube video or a stream in the background, it’s such a relaxing and engaging experience for me, and since I’m a huge Grind-Junky the long term MMO style grind is something that I thoroughly enjoy, despite the ā€œcontroversialā€ nature of it.

I don’t build much though, I mostly just build something very minimalist and then call it home, I’m all about function over style, also I play as a lone Hermit so yeah haha

Looks like most ppl chose ā€œbuildingā€ … I did not think one thing would stand out above the rest like that :grin:
Good to know Boundless is full of awesome builders! You peeps are very creative :art::heavy_heart_exclamation:

In the beginning, I played because my friends played.

I fell in love with the game super early on… I haven’t looked back. I have so many memories, both happy and sad all over the place. I’ve met some really awesome people, and a few not so nice… but the nice ones far outweigh…

Now I play both because I love it, but also out of a sense of responsibility. I’m in too deep to stop now. :heartpulse:

I’m going to add a more happier post to this than my previous;

The community! It’s easy to put down the game and walk away for a month or so, but it’s the community that is hardest to let go for me. Even when I haven’t played in a week or whatever, I’m still here in the forums almost every morning by 6am. I’ve said it before and I’ll gladly say it a few more times; I’ve been in alot of communities in various genre of games, and this one by far, has the most friendly, caring, and devoted community I’ve ever been a part of!

And the devs…? Don’t even get me started on their labor of love for this amazing title and their community! I think alot of what drives us to these forums is the constant and honest interaction with them on a mostly daily basis. It’s because of all of you, that everyone of us here has been able to play together, create memories together, smile together, laugh together, and sometimes argue like siblings together.

For that: I thank you, in the most heartfelt way possible! ~Truly and sincerely~

Because I’m bored

Though oddly, the more time I have to play video games, the less I want to…
