I’m pretty sure there were options to generate either kind of world. I’m pretty sure multi tier worlds in the MMO are also possible, just not necessary.

A federated universe would be cool, especially considering modability of servers. This also would have unknown affects on revenue since the whole point of the mandatory phone home was to make sure you own the game and check if you have Gleam Club.

spawn chests of oort to build own portal network? for self and few friends? spawning most rare building mats to build wonders? who will be admire what you can build without any effort?

This right here.
Creative worlds are great for testing out builds, but having everything at your fingertips without effort is boring. It cheapens the experience.

Off topic: Enjoyed reading through the discussion. Brings me back to the pre-launch days with people full of passion and suggestions. And of course, our trademark, the family drama. Definitely plays a part on those fond memories.

Thanks @jon-eric for your work and the active people here preventing this game to die. I come back from time to time but unfortunately can’t hold my interest for too long with its current state. Here’s to the hope of new contents, how low may them be!
