I ran into some glacier on the underside of a sand island… one must be careful when using regen bombs to return to the surface when deep mining, evidently the “surface” can be on the bottom of a lake under an island made of glacier covered with sand.

Oh yes it can also bump you up into the lava lake 20 blocks above you when mining emeralds which I learnt the hard way, haha.
@XxymoxX I thought that might be the case. I searched all the ocean floors and ever cave I came across and couldn’t find any. Was just hoping that maybe someone came across the rare patch that might exist because I think silk cobalt tangle would be sexy!
@bregma Yeah not sure what you are talking about. The small islands I saw that had sand on them had stone under them. More clarification if you could?
