I am just wondering if when the planets wipe for 1.0 if the developers plan to change the generation seed so that the planets will have a different layout and look? I certainly wouldn’t want Berlyn to be the same…
I believe we will have an entirely new set of planets, and the existing set will be retired to the offline universe. Berlyn will be lost, but never forgotten!

I don’t know there was going to be an offline mode…sweet! 
That is not what I said.
Not an “offline mode” so much as the world’s file will be saved, and potentially at a later date be available to download in some manner. The planned schematics feature may let you export build schematics to replicate in the live server. But support for an “offline” mode has never been acknowledged.

Oh I took it as “offline universe” was implying a single player / offline mode sorry for the missconception
