3x3 AoE Help

So I am having trouble making my hammers make it to the 3x3 AoE effect.

I have 2k power on my forge, pure boon 3, special gum, and my character has maxed attributes for forging and the epic. 100 effectiveness.

What is the secret to making it past crossed pattern AoE to 3x3?

I’ve been using Boon Boost Paste 2 to give a little extra … well … boost to the boon points. Seems to get me there most of the time

Thank you for your reply! Do you know if it will help me to obtain more power coils or not since my effectiveness is already 100?

It won’t help no.

The only way to push more points is to, like Stretchious suggests, using boon boost paste 2 to increase your boon points.

Fate paste 2 is also very good, as it gives you better rolls, and re-rolls unfavourable ones.

Edit: The absolute best i’ve found is draining boon compound, but you need a catalyst to counteract the debuff, which is expensive.

I recently came across a forge strategy that combines stabilisation/invigoration paste, fate past, Draining Compound 2 and a vigor catalyst. The catalyst is expensive but with Invigoration paste and draining coumpound you can push your forge further
