In the future, it would be nice if there were some way to tell a regular item from a forged, altered, or EXO item 
It could be a symbol, a small string of additional item data, highlight the row…

same for atlases - empty or completed
at the moment in all mentioned cases, item price is the only indicator of what it might be (unforged, forged and to what level etc) and that only works for players who know what prices to expect, and even then it can be deceiving enough

Another idea to add with the shop scanner would be to scan for specific colours.
