Voxel Movement has to be solved first… I don’t think any time was ever invested in even discussing that. I do know there was a push by a lot of us too allow space and asteroids so we could live off the planet… but rockets might be needed and that takes movement…
I ll give you a tip Don t let a beacon be over 200 Plot Long or you lose everything above If you reclaim IT someday .
The day that beacon gets reclaimed, is the day I quit the game forever. I spent 1000s of hours as a soloist making the things inside that beacon. I even have large amounts gleam club to ensure that in the event I go into coma or something, It will hopefully still be there when I recover.
OK then everything IS fine should be Just a help.
Just use regular 3d meshes for vehicles, like mobs are using. Not a huge deal.
For those that want basic stuff… but many of us would want to actually build our stuff… Either way many things in this game never seem to be easy…
In time we may getting buildable vehicles as well. It’s just that static 3d model-based ones would be much easier and thus faster to develop. Buildable vehicles can come later, for now, improving planet exploration speed is needed as known worlds are huge and getting from A to B if you don’t know coords/don’t have warp conduits is painful.
Any kind of glider would be nice to use for mountain biomes or anything that has alot of tall landscapes.
The only time I would like an aircraft is that if there is space exploration in boundless.
As for land traveling, I am okay with mounts, and railways.
As long as it isn’t as annoying as the way Veloren did it.
