Hopefully with mineable slabs we can also mine stone without it turning to cobble. I like to build with the stone colors from other worlds! Currently possible with a respawn in another world (inventory stocked with individual world stone color) and a teleport back to your home world.

You can craft normal stone using broken stone in the new update
