On topic, best tip for hunting in general and soloing meteors is to learn the enemies patterns. You can dodge most attacks, sit in a tree when a horde of elite wild stocks appear and laugh while you farm xp without danger.
Heres one example do a small sidestep when cuttletrunks shoot their homing missle if done right, it will cycle around you endlessly without ever hitting you ^^

If only hunts were 24/7 lol, I’m sure I’ve upset someone on the discords by asking about hunts.
