Are portal networks a commodity now?

If they did decide to do dev maintained portal networks, i’d sign up as a volunteer to run it and vote for closing Ultima. Cause then it means more freedom to enjoy the game myself. Go out mining all day without worrying about someone needing something back at the hub.

PS Network map

its even worse than people suggested: i have to go through boori to reach t5+ >.> and grovidias te in us west is bad for me too

They are not guaranteed to be used. Take Skyway Biitula for example… it died within a month. Dunno why, it was kept up just fine… but just by making one in no way guarantees it’s success

The problem will rectify itself, as players spread out and the cost of running the portals is extremely high. Players will not be able to keep them open if there is low footfall. Soon hubs will be more of portals to main planets. Then different hubs to the 4 thousand shops selling yams on each planet.

Everything in a dynamic living game like this cycles. Supply and demand change as people in real life situations play more and play less, and take breaks, and get an itch and play 3 days straight. Shops will close, others will rise, portals will close, and others will open.

Just have to roll with it, and be flexible.I would suggest not running out and opening a huge hub right now. Unless you have unlimited oort stone.

Thanks but I hope it means something good, coz I have no idea what it means. But, in the spirit of being whatever comes at you is meant to serve you, I still thank you for the comment. I’d appreciate it even more if you could tell me what it means, though.

Translation: I am mentioning your name as a mark of appreciation and recognition.

Guvna = slang for governor/boss. A term of respect.

Depends on where you are from. Here in my home area, the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, you are stating the person is totally wrong and you are challenging them either to prove they are right with actual proof or be labeled a liar. It can even go as far as a physical fight.
So, if someone says “I’m calling you out” they are going prove it or I’m saying you are lying. If you can’t prove it, then you are a liar and can, depending on the circumstances, get the ■■■■ beat out of you.

When I read the remark, the thought that came to my mind was, “Them’s fighting words”

Indeed, UK and US are separated by a common language

From the UK and this is my understanding of the sentence too.

If you want to be positive you “give a shout out”. “Calling you out” means I’ve got an issue with something and shits about to get real

I’m from the U.S. Over here, we use others cultural tongues as a way to explain our own meaning in an amusingly and jestful way. So yes, “calling you out” is normally fighting words… but in the context of the rest of my message, it was shown as a jest to show our thanks and appreciation for what he had done for us. Hence why I bothered to make sure my meaning was understood as soon as possible.
