I saw a lot of posts where people wanted to exchange items and resources instead of using the ingame buying/selling plinths. What about using a common topic (like this) for this purpose?

Let me start. So I have tons of rocks (mostly metamorphic), and want a lot of iron and/or coal. PM me and we can discuss the details, but the standard offer is: 99 rocks for 1 iron or 10 soft coal. (Btw I accept any form of iron (rough, melted, compact, refined, machined) and coal (soft, medium, hard, compact).)

PS: I have unwanted tallow, dark blood, sap, ancient tech fragment, component, titanium ore, and a few oort stones (only for iron) too, if someone interested.

Sure! Meta or igni rocks are good? I sold all sed rocks yesterday.

Anyway, thats pre-update iron you stored or you have a good tip for the community to where to mine iron? :blush:

I’ve found several iron mining locations, trouble is they all seem to be tiny areas (like 1/50th of a biome or something) so if you need more than about 20 pieces you have to go from place to place to place…

Best to just mine it where and whenever you see it.

Already made a nice trade with Kawwak. But I can nowhere near give him the 6000 iron he needs.

When I said I have a lot, I meant several hundreds, not thousands :flushed:

Now I have a lot of stone for my next project and I will see if I can find a better place to get more iron. It does take a lot of time to mine for it as it is not that easy to find.
In this case I better go mine for the blocks instead lol.

Maybe Kawwak you can setup a buying plinth, so others can supply you with iron too ?

I dont have too much coins unfortunately, but my buying plinths at my home accept iron already, so I buy some for coins too. I have around 1000 iron right now, only 7000 to go (I was wrong with the 6000). :cold_sweat:

At least I have some good places to mine them (only around 100 came from trades), but im open to better place suggestions. :blush:

Not sure why you went with Iron. Maybe you should reconsider and use Silver instead, its much more plentiful. Just a suggestion :wink:

Well you can do nothing with silver unless it is silver alloy, and for silver alloy you need iron. So for silver things you need silver, iron and more coal (not only for smelting, but for sparks too). Cause of this still better to use iron, until we can use silver/titanium without alloying. And sadly gold/copper isnt good for my design.

I forgot about that alloy part. Good point. Iron being the crutch again.

not sure how much power each one generates? enough to give 1000 power

T1s provide 100 power, I believe that T2s generate 500. I’ll have a mass craft of T2s ready tomorrow at the latest.
