It is possible to order a custom 3d printed model online right now at a very inexpensive cost. If there’s a method to send a the content of a beacon area to a service for printing, builder’s could immortalIze their creations and possibly generate additional revenue as well for the game.

Actually, beacon content .mdl, /obj, or .3ds exporting might not be a bad idea. However, I wouldn’t expect to see it until after perhaps the 1.0 release.

This would be very cool! I’ve seen some 3d printed MC stuff, and I bet it wouldn’t be that hard for oort to follow up. That is relatively speaking though… This might be a bit of a boondoggle for a much later time.
