Best location for a Pulsating Orb Farm?

The next regen farm I have in mind to is a Pulsating Orb farm, anyone know of the best type of places to set one up?

I don’t need co-ordinates, but planet ideas will be appreciated. I have found a sponge + mould location, both things that drop Pulsating Orbs. I have see places on Bersverona that have a lot of sponge but its only 2 thick, which I don’t find worth sacrificing expensive portal + more expensive tools on.

My base is Refgar so prefer a 1x2 portal from there. Any tips are greatly appreciated!

I farm Pulsating Orbs in Refgar
With starberry pie I get 1.1k - 1.3k with one speed brew on

@Ratchel has a ton of farms so I imagine he could tell you what planets he has found best for each

Ah nice is that 2 thick or more? I’ll check it out when I’m next on

@almund That’s decent! How long does it take you to get that much? The length of the speed brews or the pie?

Where is this location please

I believe it is 2 thick all around. It’s a cave completely encased in brick.

Best way is to go where you got ton burst funguses… its awesome. If you are lucky you get like 3x3 stack with those.

Its faster than farm.

You just need some knowledge and dats dat

Going for shrooms is a good shout but sometimes I just wanna Regen farm for stuff, as there is no competition and I don’t have to run a round and focus very much :ok_hand:

Ye i dont like it.
People leave their mouse1 autoclicker open and go afk for hour… Then profit.
Dont see any fun in that lol :stuck_out_tongue:

Well that’s not what a lot of people do, neither do I lol as that is just straight up cheating. I mainly like the technical side of it, making it more and more efficient and user friendly. Might even use the farm just once, just like building it

Amount of sponge is that kind of normal T1 underwater sponge “blob”. Good explorers could probably know better places

I use T1 farm because it is faster use tool and I can use cheap/easy forged aoe+durability topaz shovel. It is just constant regen bomb throwing so it is good to have enough bags of regen bombs.

I have portal there from Niia Zed Ka, but I am too lazy right now to write guide for that

If you have already claimed some nearby growth on Refgar you probably have sponge nearby. Good to scout own place if you can waste time by standing still and hitting same blocks all time, then it is much easier to mint all sponge away at once.

Sasquatchville has portal to some EU planet where is nice spot of sponge and I think it also good go to look for farm @Damagekai did note. I don’t see much point make these orb farms too fancy looking, just that those are practical enough to use for me

How about the Nova Golda Orb Farm on Gloviathosa?

Reachable from Nova Golda Portal Area, bottom floor, marked ‘Farm Hubs’

Awesome, thats what I’ve been finding on Refgar also, found a double spawn of sponge which makes it longer so could be a better farm that many other spots on Refgar. Next to it, about 5 blocks away is also a Mould and a Growh spawn… but not sure if that matters as Mould needs an axe and would be tricky to keep switching along with regen bombing, hmm…

@Buugi Thanks for the offer but I wanna keep the farms on EU if i can help it, cheaper portal costs for me

@Coolpants Cheers Cool, but I’m not in any need of the Orbs atm, but I will be in the near future when i expand my base  will check out yours for some extra info tho!

@AeneaGames Oooh thats a new formation I haven’t seen before, is that the layer above the sea level?

Nope on Gloviathosa they are above ground like that!

These 3 were at the perfect height for a farm tho. There’s a door there too, go outside and you will find many, many more of these formations!

And Glovia is only a T3 so simple tools still work well! (and it’s EU!)
