Best place for iron and copper?

I was wondering what the best end game place to mine copper and iron would be (most resources/hour). I was too lazy to compare different planets statistics, figured somebody did that already :blush:

If you’re after iron Houchus 1 is good. You get a lot while mining sapphires. win win in my book

Thanks for the info! I was wondering though, dont some resources have higher drop quantity on higher level planets? I wonder how would lamblis compare to some other higher level world when it comes to amount of ore you get/hour. Im pretty sure that I would like smash two ore blocks of copper and get like 10 or more copper out of it on a lv6 planet. Also it would be nice if you could along the way farm other things as well. If nobody can suggest a better alternative I will probably end up destroying lamblis.

But then you have to take into account the higher materials needed for mining on higher worlds. If it’s justbiron and copper you need, Lamblis is the best place in my opinion.

Copper- 43.35%
Iron - 27.12%

Thing is I have plenty of everything except iron and copper lol so for me its not a problem to go on a higher lv planet, especially if I could mine more stuff along with it :slight_smile:

I meant in the scheme of things, it’s easier mining on a lower tier planet (speed and efficiency) Also I think Lamblis is actually the best place for copper :blush:

I prefer McRib you pretty much got everything except copper. So clearly for copper you’ll have to check a lower tier World…

Houchus I is great if you don’t want to deal with lava. Lots of iron in the higher elevations along with lots of sapphire, topaz, and fossils you can sell to buy more iron and copper. Lamblis is also a good choice like @illuminawtyness said if you don’t mind the lava.

Cephonex Merika is good too. The Eastern US metal world. There is an entrance into an extensive network of caves, just a little east of the PS hub. Then you can just mine the copper and iron on the cave walls without digging a lot of tunnels. And pick up some combustion fractions while exploring the caves.
