I know there is a black metamorphic on Phemorium. Is there a black colored igneous or sedimentary rock on one of the planets?
Not sure, but if not you should be able to use a transformation chisel to get it I think.

How does the transformation chisel work? I tried to find some information on it but came up empty handed. Thanks.
Btw what i am wanting to do is have black bricks. I like the sedimentary ones best.

I had looked at that one and another one. Both are good resources. I was hoping with some of the new planets that maybe there was one that had it that I did not know about. Looks like the only option for black at the moment is the metamorphic stuff. Thanks guys for the help.

unfortunately thou black is only available in metamorhic rock and gravel

Doors are always open, and i try to add new worlds as they come…
right now planets are arranged by tier. Stairs to other levels are at the back of the build
Well you can chisel the black metamorphic rock into any other rock type with the changing gem chisel, you only have to be off its original world to keep the color.
On it’s original world it will change type and color. Off world only the type.
That’s how you get the “impossible” colors 
It seems to work for all materials, for now I have only tested rocks/stone/bricks, trunk/timber and refined timber.

The chisels definitely work. I changed black meta into black igneous bricks and its fantastic. It doesn’t have to be a gem chisel. You can forge the property onto any chisel. Gem chisels are only needed for those who want to change gem types
