Black screen at start up

After i installed the game on a new computer as my own is down by the time, the game seems to go directly to a black screen and jsut stay there.

And the other questions (from the link post)?

It looks like the game is failing to initalise the sound device. This is possibly sending the game down a path it can’t currently recover from.

Do you have any funky sound setup? Or hardware?

As usual, make sure all your drivers are up to date.

What happens if you try the standard version instead of the DX11 beta?

RAM 8.00 GB

I have no idea about the graphic card and can’t find anything right now but it should be able to take this.

I am using windows 7 home premium and live in Denmark.

I have no sound setup right now actually only a mic

And it is the same problem on all versions.

We’ll need to look at why the game fails if there is no sound device. Keep an eye on the release notes for an update that hopefully resolves the issue. Thanks again for the game log.

That’d explain it then, currently the game isn’t set up to not work without an available sound device to use (might sound weird, but that’s the way it is right now). You may well find that just plugging a pear of earphones in will make it work till it’s patched.
