How many did you have to toss? I still don’t think it’s worth it… You only get 60% more blocks but you will still have to spend more than 60% of your time getting more topaz and shards rather than whatever else you might need.
3 at least, or have it insanely forged.
I’ll stick with my 6m 2-tossers. I can crank out an endless supply of them relatively easily.
Which is it? Diamond? And are we talking about lvl5 world?
I am using forged titanium bombs with +3m and +500ish damage. Set my bomb skill to 4 and only have to toss 2. If you care about your time you won’t be using gem bombs, especially topaz which is generally a pain in the ass to get and doesn’t tend to spawn with anything useful like titanium, silver AND black coal like diamond usually does.
10 more minutes of mining sapphire in alnitans. Use persistent pie and you are gold. Throw 3 bombs. Have only used 1/2 a topaz bomb and have 700 gems

actually I can convert every compact sapphire into topaz. Funny how that works
He has still half left to hunt for topaz… or you know use 60 of the 85 he already mined.
What? You can convert gems? If you are talking about a material change chisel that does not work on compact gems. I just tried it.
