Boundless AI

With all the human error that can be a burden on any, dare I say every (apart from @georgegroeg) players experience of boundless (chiselling the wrong side of a block, placing an extra block, internet issues). Wouldn’t it save everyone, time, and therefore money, to develop a Boundless AI. All the AI needs to be is a simple predictive network that is based of your existing builds in boundless that knows exactly what YOU the player wants to happen next, and does it for you. Take the dog for a walk, build a treehouse for your children, knowing safely that the Boundless AI ™ will be hard at work building YOUR dreams, and or nightmares… Stay safe, stay Boundless.

a T9 for building? I’d ash everything and leave in record time

I remember being really excited at the potential uses for AI, imagining doctors finally having access to a medical tricorder and every house having robotic cleaners - things like that. I didn’t ever think it would used to make music, write stories, or play video games for me. Somehow that just doesn’t feel like a win

But just imagine not having to think of anything boundless related, still getting the steam or PS4 achievements, still getting the recognition and admiration of your fellow Oortians, still feeling that positive buzz of having contributed to a completely player built piece of art, yet also having the time to minmax diablo and put up that shelf!!!

Probably better off just putting up the shelf. Or teaching Ai to do that instead

why i need AI playing for me?

i want to play not watching something doing it for me, if i want to see someones playing i can turn YT on and found living youtuber, there is already so many AI youtubers pretend to be human

I might be fine with letting an AI do stuff I don’t like doing, like farming dirt and hunting. But building? Naw. That is the fun part!

If I watch another human, that’s them getting all the credit, not myself assisted by a trained AI tool. I want to be the one who gets the steam achievements, not some random youtuber…

Also in response to your first question, if you had AI playing for you, you would be more likely to win the Olympics, its common sense.
