This could spread the name of the game, and if the price was decreased, this could seem more attractive to people.
I think that’ll be in the cards sometime after they release local universes. After original release the servers jammed up to capacity quickly and a lot of players quit because there was nowhere else to go. Once single player is added then that’s always an option if an Xbox release is bigger than anticipated.
Plus now with sovereigns the population is more spread out so we won’t have 500 people fighting over 60 spots on Biitula like the first month.

It still comes down to what the exclusivity deal with Sony says. How long is it for? Is it permanent? Also switch would have a hard time playing boundless.

I agree that switch would have a hard time. Plus, you’d need an internet connect to play boundless anyways whether or not you have a local universe when thats out cus so far that we know console will not be able to host a local universe.
