So we only used to be able to thwack players that we were friends with … but today I’ve logged in, and after multiple portal pass throughs I’m able to hit strangers with my hammer.
I mean … it’s fun, and I’m game 
… but it might annoy some folks 
… still … is this a stealth update, a testing of some other thing that went live by mistake, a bug, or something else?
Or have I just been weird all this time in only being able to ‘thwack’ friends?
