Buggy left hand?

Hi there! New to Boundless and in need of some advice. I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far, but I’ve encountered something really bizarre. After unequipping my light stone thingy my left hand doesn’t seem to work? I can equip items there, but they don’t ever show up and are unusable there. I’ve been relying solely on my right hand.

Attempted to run debug to see what was up but had no idea what I was looking at. Tried a clean install. Tried resetting all controls to default. I mean, it’s playable with one hand, but I’d love to be able to torch and hammer at the same time!

If you hold alt while scrolling, it will change the item in you left hand. Normal scrolling will change the item in the right.

No problem, it took some forum surfing for me to figure that out too. I hadn’t played in a while and once i got in I had no idea :joy:

I accidentally found it when i was testing dual wielding update XD

Alternatively you can hold down Q on your keyboard, then hold either your left or right mouse button down (left for left hand, right for right hand) and drag your mouse in the direction of the equipped item you want. Then release your mouse button and then Q.

Using this method allows for changing both left and right hand at the same time, by holding both buttons down. It’s great for more commonly used combinations of items!

Isn’t something about how to use the dual wield function mentioned on the disclaimer screen when the game is launched?
