I don’t know how hard this would be to implement but would be really nice to have like an offline creative mode, where you can test out building ideas without having to worry about the resources and stamina and taking multiple hits to take stone out if you mess it up and your character or tools or a bit lower level. I have some ambitious building projects in mind but I’m not sure if they would work and I don’t want to waste all the resources (food, tool wear, etc) trying them and realising they don’t work the way I want them to. I really like the building in this game (much more than Minecraft) and it would be really nice to have a place to test out ideas without the stress of having to collect everything you might need for all the various options you want to try out. I know if it does happen it probably wouldn’t be for a while but it would be really cool just to be able to play around with the game and building without the challenges of normal gameplay.

The answer is rented private planets. One option being discussed are planets that are separated from the public universe where you can change the rules to do what you want. The will be offered in the future so we might have to wait a while.
