Hey there!
So we are working on our workshop and planning a mad scientist/sci-if lab concept. We were hoping to incorporate the machines (refineries etc.) as cryo-pods or other crazy lab machines.
We’ve tried various layouts - but with coils included they just become super massive and we can’t quite get it to look very good.
One option we’ve been considering is hiding the coils/spark under the floor so only the top of the machines poke out - and incorporating the machine tops as part of the cryo-pod design.
Here’s our inspiration:
Just wondering if any builders out there have ideas? Willing to pay you for the design/blueprint…
@georgegroeg did some if I recall correctly, he used an oorti doll under a glass block or something.
If you are looking for a decent detail you will have to make them big(ish), think it like it’s pixel, how much detail can you get in 8x8 pixel for example (spoilers a lot and not a lot)
Why not try a 2x2x2 glass blocks with chiseled edges on top and 2x2x metal at the bottom, a few pipies out the back on the sides etc. The filling is either a doll or none, no choice there lol. (Smallest version I could think of)

Daddy @georgegroeg also has something similar in Cookie Kingdom under The Gingerbread Man were the s are in Cryo Stasis

I’ve got a room full of my clones. But they aren’t hiding machines in them. It’s just a clone room. Putting them in the floor may be the only way to do it with coils. I think I have something similar by my wild stock exhibit. I’ll snag a couple screen shots. Or you can check out the towers of power and get under ground and check it out.
Or check out this video @ 21mins in.

I’ll have to come check that out! I haven’t seen that yet.
You can make a decent cryo tube out of glass. Aren’t there Oortian head emojis? You could put one on a sign inside
Paint mixer is a nice computery looking object. Same for spark gens and links. And there’s a bunch of decent button emojis, see georgio’s base or pyrr’s shop at Hamburg mall
I have what i think is a sci-fi sort of look in my workshop. With some modifications it could be more so.

Of course you would @georgegroeg ! Lol… I have already been overwhelmingly inspired by your builds. The level of scale you work with - and amount of detail and realism you put into your work leaves me speechless.
If I send another character into the Towers of Power they may be lost forever. Poor ShinobiTwo, may she Rest In Peace, wandered into your towers many moons ago and never returned. I hear she still wanders the halls exploring every crack and crevice. The echoes of “WooooOoOOw” and “Omg that’s insane” reverberate through the metal walls.
But in all seriousness - i love your work and have already planned to take a tour for inspiring designs. I’m just working on a much smaller scale. I’ll take a look though, and I’ll post pictures if i come up with anything worth sharing!

Hahaha. Thanks. I’m sure whatever you create will turn out great knowing how awesome all your previous builds have been. There is a tube style chamber at the smelly couch.
Also if you’re ever looking for a guild. Reapers is a pretty good one.

If theres head emojies he could use a glass module sign for the enoji and surround it in glass for the chamber and attach it to the machine on the floor witha door to allow access. If only we had glass doors/trapdoors.
White glass would be closest for ‘frost’ afaik
I’m only seeing monster heads
Could always make a sign like this:

Here’s the tube styles I’ve made. They have machines.
These do not.
You could use snowman heads inside as well.

OooOo these look good! You access the machines through the hole in the floor?
I’m definitely going to have to come by tonight…
