Buying All The Iron Ore

As the title says. I’m buying all the iron ore.
I have 800k in baskets buying for 8c. The highest in the universe.

I’ve been building like crazy. And need to replenish my supplies. So any iron I could get would be a great help.

I figure I buy it up…sit on it till no one wants it…then sell it for 3c in a year or so. Sound like a great business plan.

Cook it into bars so no one will buy it.

Most of the iron I have is in bars or blocks. Once I get about 6 SS I cook it.

So I am on the correct path to make no money…SWEET!

I feel like bars don’t sell for a couple of reasons- being an iron buyer myself- one: the raw iron gives the person processing it xp, so it’s better as the purchaser to buy it in raw form and process it themselves.
And two- a lot of people want more coin for an iron bar than the raw iron itself which doesn’t make sense to me. It takes very little to melt it down, why would I pay more coin for it? If more of it was at par with the raw iron - I’d personally be more keen on buying it when raw iron isn’t available. As far as blocks - I personally would rather make those myself in any form, but that’s me.

But anyways that’s just my two cents.

Wanna say thanks to the people who sold me some iron so far.
But I still need a lot more and there’s still $500 000 ish in the baskets at 8c.

I think I’ve mined 30 - 40 SS this week :man_shrugging:

Made couple more stacks of silver blocks and like 4-5 stacks of titanium, it eats up a lot of iron. What didn’t go into those I mostly machined (another 2 stacks) or pressed into octigrid (almost 2 stacks).

Someplace like Houchus it’s easy to pull down 8-10 SS of iron in an hour. I found a sov called elune this week - WOW the precious ores there.

I think its really cause i mined my fair share When we didnt have forge. Only those sweet 1x3 dias and cross emeralds :joy:
