I find it really difficult to tell at a glance what’s forged and what’s not (sometimes moving the cursor doesn’t tell you either):
Eg: only one of the silver axes below is not forged, can you tell which one?

An icon for AoE state would also be useful, so I stop accidentally using AoE tools when I intend to do single target (and vice versa)
How about the centraforge coil icon mixed in to the forged tool icon?

custom icon(s) would be nice (some symbol selection + color combo either done by forger or the customer) ( or custom tool appearance, or naming) tools are made very precisely for a planet tier and a brew for example… only way to keep track without checking the stats is to keep them in labelled boxes, which is a pain. also the forge effect is barely visible on the white background
people could get creative with a gleam club naming system. just a ‘:#magenta: 6’ would tell you all you need to know ( t6, use with fast brew)

Or what if the inventory slot the forged item was in, had it lightly highlighted around the edges? Or maybe the boundless B logo in one of the corners? Just throwing quick ideas out here
I would really love a name & icon system. Name it with the tier etc, and give an icon for at a glance.
It could even require engraving acids you use before setting resin.
