Doors that from the outside look just like decorative wood, decorative rock, filigree metal? Decorative gleam maybe too, but you can kind of see through that so it kind of defeats the purpose…
Dungeons and haunted houses always have secret doors.
In the library
Behind the fireplace
Lots of places
I’d be down for a door that functioned as a storage shelf but acted like a door that’d be cool to hide in a library build or something.
Fireplace door yes please
Would interacting with it open the door or storage by default?
What if we had “space technology” doors, like forcefield doors?
and 1 way doors
I would love to have access to adaptive doors. When placed they would mimic the block texture it is next to.
A better idea would have different doors craftable to be like natural blocks or furniture and unless you have permissions you only see the natural block. If you have permissions you can see it via a particle effect or have a door handle appear on the edge and either walk straight through it or open it as a door.
Or a blank door you put the mimic item into like you do with an atlas or totem. It contains the block you want it to look like.
